Taylor Swift recently chatted with People Magazine about how excited she was that she got a compliment from Lady Gaga! Lady Gaga said that she loves Taylor’s song “You Belong With Me” and that she sings it so loudly that she embarrasses herself!
Gaga added:
It’s a great song! I think it’s just because it’s very whimsical in a way that I’m not necessarily whimsical every day.
Taylor said to the mag:
That absolutely made my day when I read that because I’m a huge fan of hers. I appreciated that. I remember the first time I ever saw [Lady Gaga] on [MTV's] TRL. She had like a leotard on and I just thought to myself, that’s so daring. Her music must be daring like that and [I] went home and I downloaded ‘Just Dance.’
We love both of these ladies!
